The 50-mile ride will start at 09:00hrs and the 25-mile ride will start at 09:30. Whichever distance you are taking on, you will need to be at the start area at least 45 minutes before your start time to register. Coffee and bacon rolls will be available from 07:30hrs.
All routes have been meticulously planned by the organising team from Zeus Events and are available for download from the Route Guides page of this website. Once on the routes, you’ll be following our signs all the way – you can’t go wrong!
Specially prepared food and drink will be available at the pit stops on each route including bananas, flapjacks, Jaffa Cakes, etc and various nutrition products provided. Everything at our pit stops is free.
We intend to make The Finchley 50 Classic Bike ride one of the best events in the country and the Zeus Cycling team pride themselves on their pit stops. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed!
Rider Numbers & Helmets
You’ll be given your own individual rider number. Once you have been allocated a number we will immediately be able to identify you if you need to call Finchley 50 Classic Bike Ride event office. Wearing these numbers, along with helmets, is compulsory at all times during the event.
Volunteers are crucial to the success of this event, and we mean it when we say that we really couldn’t do it without the hard work and dedication from our volunteers. We will need up to thirty people who want to have fun and at the same time help us make the Finchley 50 Classic Bike Ride a great event and in the process help raise thousands of pounds for charity.
Volunteers will have to be available for the Saturday and Sunday, to help us prepare for an event that promises to be filled with fun and excitement all across the Hertfordshire countryside. We are looking for Drivers, Route Marshalls, First Aiders, Physiotherapists, Masseurs, Administrators, and someone who can play the bugle!
If you, or someone you know, is keen to volunteer please get in touch with us either via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or on the phone (0203 770 6982).
